Apple Ridge Academy Welcomes 4K Teacher!

Apple Ridge Academy, 17612 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, would like to welcome Gena Dati to the teaching staff! Gena will be teaching in the School-Age program for the summer and continuing on in September as the 4 year old Kindergarten teacher for the 2010-2011 school year at the Academy.

Gena graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, with a degree in Elementary Education. She is licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to teach children 0-8 years old. Ms. Gena also brings with her an abundance of teaching experience, in the public school system and private child care centers, with children in grades Preschool-3rd grade. She has enthusiastically jumped in and implemented fun, educational activities for her students!

Along with weekly field trips and a spacious classroom filled with a myriad of choices for children, Ms. Gena creates experiences to help her students use their creativity and critical thinking skills. Sports and outdoor activities are incorporated into every day, so that her students have the opportunity to exercise their bodies, as well as their minds!
