Have you ever thought about volunteering in your community, but weren’t sure how to get started? Are you looking for service projects for youth groups or adults? Are you currently volunteering through Interfaith, but in need for more information on services for seniors and others?
If your answer is “Yes” to any of these questions, please attend the Interfaith Senior Programs Open House on September 9th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National Avenue in New Berlin.
Meet Interfaith staff and discover how easy it is to help local seniors and adults with disabilities stay independent in their homes by providing simple services such as yard clean up, friendly visits, transportation and more. Ask questions about services for seniors and adults with disabilities, and receive volunteer handbooks and support materials.
Please contact Marie Honel at Interfaith no later than September 7th with your number of guests at 262-549-3348, ext. 225 or marieh@interfaithwaukesha.org. To learn more about Interfaith, visit our website at www.interfaithwaukesha.org.
