Egypt: Joseph, from prison to palace VBS

The Free Methodist Church, 2975 S. Sunny Slope Road, New Berlin, invites you to Vacation Bible School Monday-Friday, July 26-30, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. each day. Children 4 years old through those entering 7th grade are eligible. VBS is free! There is an all-family cookout on Friday, July 30, at 6:30 p.m. Bring beverage and dish to share on the buffet table. There will be horseback rides, face painting, castle bouncer and lighted playground as well as the VBS Closing program.

Step back in time at Egypt, exploring the life of Joseph. Kids will participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Egyptian eats, visit Joseph in prison and then in his palace home. Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.

We will join nearly a million participants blanketing Africa with God’s love through a hands-on mission project in association with an organization called Operation Kid-to-Kid. With Operation Kid-to-Kid, VBS children will create soft blankets that will be sent to orphans and vulnerable children.
