NEW BERLIN, WI – May 24, 2010 –Batzner Pest Management’s Ant Identification and Management 101 Training Program has been named winner of the 2010 Entomology Educational Project Award by the Board of Certified Entomologists of Mid-America; an honor that normally is bestowed upon university teaching programs and extension projects.
“Identification is the first step to providing proper treatment,” says creator of the program, Ted Snyder, Training & Technical Services Manager. “With over 700 species of ants in North America, it is essential that our employees learn the subtle differences of each species common to our area.”
The computer based program teaches employees how to correctly identify ants through an interactive process that reinforces the skills they use daily out in the field.
“As a new employee, I think the training program was incredibly interesting,” Michelle Heth, Commercial Sales Consultant, “and it helped me to feel more confident and knowledgeable when it comes to ants.”
Committed to providing the highest level of client satisfaction, all employees must complete a rigorous training program before they are entrusted to represent the company.
