General Rubber Company Moves Offices to New Berlin

July 6, 2009 | 0 comments

After more than 50 years in the same downtown Milwaukee location, General Rubber Company, a distributor of hoses and accessories for hydraulic, air, water, welding, refrigeration, and other equipment, has moved its offices to an expanded facility at 16988 W. Victor Rd., New Berlin.

The new location features 8,000 square feet and allows General Rubber Company to increase its inventory of hose, accessories, and supplies to provide even better service to new and existing customers. The previous building was sold to another downtown company seeking to expand its business at 5th and Walnut Streets.

“The move to this new facility creates new opportunities for our business,” said Jack Kacsur, president of General Rubber Company. “The New Berlin office is ideally located to allow us to expand our coverage area and assist industrial customers throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Racine counties and the rest of southeastern Wisconsin."

General Rubber Company has been serving industry throughout Wisconsin since 1926 and has been certified ISO 9001:2008. In addition to its new home office, General Rubber Company also operates an Eaton/Weatherhead Port to Port Hose Assembly Center in the Fox Valley at 2310 W. College Ave. in Appleton. The hose center is open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

More information on General Rubber Company may be obtained by calling 262-754-5522 or 800-227-5220. The Appleton branch telephone number is 920-733-7223.
