Weiland off to Winona State on basketball scholarship

New Berlin Eisenhower student-athlete Jenny Weiland has signed to attend Winona State University on a basketball scholarship.

Weiland, a key member of the Lady Lions the past three years, is expected to play a big role in the 2012-13 squad.

HLC set boys-girls tryouts for AAU basketball teams

Higher Level Basketball Camps has set tryouts for boys and girls AAU fourth to 11th grades traveling teams.

Tryouts are set for Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at Greenfield High School Hawks Dome, 4800 S. 60th St.

Reuteler named to WLC football team as fullback

Zach Reuteler, a sophomore at Wisconsin Lutheran College, is a member of the Warriors football team.

Zach, son of Ron and Sherry Reuteler of New Berlin, is a fullback for the Warriors.
