Muskego's Stefaniak earns WIAC defensive grid honor

Muskego resident Ryan Stefaniak, now playing football for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference defensive player of the week.

Stefaniak collected nine solo tackles and two quarterback sacks in a 23-16 victory over UW-Eau Claire.

Foldy earns position on Whitewater volleyball team

Tricia Foldy of Muskego is playing on this season's University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's volleyball team.

The Warhawks were rated 21st in the nation in Division III and have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 19 straight seasons.

Wisconsin RAP holds basketball club on Nov. 6

Wisconsin RAP is creating a basketball club incorporating weight training, nutritional consultations, individual skill sessions and game play.

The club is open to boys and girls in seventh through 10th grades and will be held at St. Paul's School on Janesville Road in Muskego on Nov. 6. Sessions are 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for girls and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for boys.

Muskego to compete in state rugby finals Oct. 30

Muskego will take part in the Wisconsin High School Girls Rugby State Finals at 10 a.m. Oct. 30, in Naga-Waukee Park.

Muskego is in Division 2 with Menomonee Falls, Wauwatosa, Oak Creek A, Oak Creek B and Fond du Lac. The day will begin with playoff games, followed by the Division 2 finals at 12:30 p.m. and the Division 1 finals at 2 p.m.
