Mlachnik gets all-SEC, all-state honors in volleyball

David Mlachnik of Muskego made the all-Southeast Conference first team in volleyball this season.

Mlachnik, a senior, also received honorable mention on the all-state team after helping the Warriors to their first WIAA state tournament berth.

Senior Tony Fugarino made the second all-SEC team, while senior Joey Bendoszeski and junior Sammy Pedersen were given honorable mention.

Wisniewski scores career high for Edgewood

Former New Berlin West star Ben Wisniewski scored a career-high 34 points in Madison Edgewood's 84-71 victory over Benedictine University on Saturday at home.

Edgewood improved to 9-0 for the second time in school history and first since 1976-77.
