Al Stigler golf outing scheduled for Aug. 30

The fourth annual Al Stigler Golf Outing is set for Aug. 30 at New Berlin Hills Golf Course, 13175 W. Graham St.

The event includes 18 holes of golf with cart, hole contests, drink tickets, golf balls, dinner and awards. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a putting contest.

The golf will begin with a noon shotgun start, and the format will be a four-person scramble. There will be three hole-in-one contests where participants have the opportunity to win Nike Pro Cavity irons, a 42-inch LCD television or a foursome package at Whistling Straits. Register by Aug. 27.

After the golf, there will be a dinner at 5 p.m. Proceeds will be evenly distributed to the New Berlin Soap Box Derby, the New Berlin Veterans Memorial Society and the Wisconsin Lions Camp for youths. More than $10,000 has been raised since the event began.

The cost is $75 per golfer, with hole sponsorships at $75, or $25 for dinner only.

Prize donations from local businesses and residents are welcomed. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
