Basketball Results: Week 4

Boys Minis

Bucks, Kings:  Andres Rodriguez continues to lead the Kings in scoring.  Grayson Berger had a nice steal near the top of the key.  Jake Biallas, Christian Peasley, Andres Rodriguez, and Sam Korducki were all active keeping the ball alive and battling under the basket.

 

Boys Minors

Pistons 12, Suns 32:  The Suns offensive attack was led by Seth Luckman and Matthew Prodoehl who each displayed great hustle and execution resulting in 14 points each.  Also contributing were Eli Oldenburg and Noah Birenbaum with 2 pts. each.  An overall team effort on defense was led by William Huang, Nick Herrman, Nathan Lawton, Kyle Dorshorst and Ethan Vento.

 

Girls Minors

Nets (New Berlin Fire) 30, Nuggets 10:  The Nets were led in scoring by Gabby Majinski who had 8 points.  Heather Skoglund had 6 points and Maria Skoufis, Amanda Leder, Kira Loomer, and Kayla Olson all scored 4 points each.  A great team effort was put forth by Kaiti Buchta, Victoria Fredrickson, Sarah Leitinger, Amber Skoglund, and Natalia Vasic. 

 

Girls Juniors

Rockets (New Berlin Fire) 20, Super Sonics (Hippenmeyer, Reily, Moodie, &Blum) 10:  After a three week hiatus the Rockets and Super Sonics needed to shake the rust off and had a close first half, with both teams playing strong and worked the ball to the inside.  The Rockets controlled the game with steals and rebounds.  Rocket steals for the game included Jenna Linssen with twelve, Monica Lauerman with five, Elise Arnas had four, and Morgan Lynch contributing two.  At the end of the first half, the score was close at Rockets 8-4.   The Rockets were strong on the boards, with Jenna Linssen bringing down 9 rebounds, Rachel Rasmussen and Ruwandi Wijenayake with 5, Elise Arnas with 3, and Morgan Lynch with 2.  Scorers for the Rockets were Jenna Linssen with 10, Elise Arnas with 6 points, and Kayla Moran and Rachel Rasmussen each with 2.
