The New Berlin Eisenhower boys basketball team improved to 17-0 with a 69-39 home win over South Milwaukee on Friday.
The Lions shot an impressive 59 percent from the field, including 7-for-17 on 3-pointers, and 12-for-16 from the free-throw line.
After a close first quarter ended in a 14-12 Eisenhower advantage, South Milwaukee shot a combined 4-for-20 in the second and third quarters and fell behind, 50-28, going into the fourth.
The Lions’ starters combined for 44 of their 69 points. Senior forward Mitch Sperka led all scorers with 15 points
South Milwaukee dropped to 8-9 overall, 7-6 conference.
