NBAA Baseball: Week 3

Co-ed tots

Astros, Padres: The Padres and Astros had some good hits at the plate, and several infielders handled well-hit grounders. The Padres made a couple close defensive plays on the bases, including at first base and home plate for outs.

Girls minis

Marlins, Astros: The Astros showed considerable improvement from the prior game. Sydney Travers, Kayla Kane and Alaina Ward did well offensively. Emily Diodati made a couple of solid defensive plays including knocking down a smash up the middle. Sela Proctor made a nice unassisted play at third base.

Girls minors

Rays 9, Blue Jays 2: The Rays' defense was great led by Elise Daigle who made all three outs in the third inning. Emily Siegel and Rachel White both hit doubles off live pitching. Lili Berg did a terrific job for her first time pitching to help bring home the Rays' second win of the season.
