New Berlin West is holding its "Extra Lap" girls basketball camp on Monday through Thursday, July 13-16, at the West fieldhouse.
The camp is open to all girls in grades three through nine in the upcoming school year. It will be run by West head coach Jef Radtke, his staff coaches and some Viking players.
The session for third, fourth and fifth grades is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. each day, while the sixth and seventh grades will meet from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. each day and the eighth and ninth graders from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The camp will feature offensive ball skills, defensive footwork and teamwork using drills, fundamentals, games and contests.
The cost is $50 and the check should be made payable to New Berlin West Lady Viking basketball and sent to the West Girls Basketball Camp, 18695 W. Cleveland Ave., New Berlin, WI., 53146.
