The New Berlin Athletic Association is starting summer baseball/softball registration.
The program is open to boys and girls who reside in New Berlin who will be 5 years of age by Friday, May 15, and children currently in kindergarten through eighth grade.
In-person registration will be held in the NBAA office at Hickory Grove, located at the corner of Sunny Slope Road and Cleveland Avenue, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 14.
Mail registrations are also being accepted. Forms may be obtained from the New Berlin Park and Recreation Department office, the New Berlin Pubic Library or downloaded from the NBAA Web site, nbaasports.com.
Registration forms and the appropriate fees ($50 for one child or $125 for three or more children from the same family who are registered for the same sport at the same time and paid for with the same check.) must be received no later than Sunday, March 1, to guarantee a spot on a team.
Registrants should add a $10 late fee per registration for any registration received after March 1. Children whose registration forms are received after this date will be added to a waiting list and put on teams on an as-needed basis.
