Albino takes first in pole vault at Carthage
Rayce Albino of New Berlin West excelled as Carthage College in Kenosha hosted the Wisconsin Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 10.
Albino placed first in the 15-16 age group pole vault with the winning jump of 10 feet.
Lanham qualifies for state youth swim meet
Samuel Lanham of Muskego, a fourth-grader at St. Paul's Lutheran Elementary School, qualified to swim in the Wisconsin 10 and under state finals at the University of Wisconsin-Madison last weekend.
Sam finished 26th in the 100-yard backstroke, 33rd in the 50 backstroke and 42nd in the 50 freestyle.
West Youth Football sets registration March 11
New Berlin West Youth Football has set registration for grades three through eight from 6 to 8 p.m. March 11 at West High School.
