Dec. 8, 2009 | 0 comments

New Berlin — Police are looking for an adult male who made off with an undisclosed amount of money from North Shore Bank on Friday.

The suspect entered the bank, 12800 W. National Ave, at 5:34 p.m. Friday carrying a black semi-automatic handgun. He pointed the gun at the bank teller, demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount. Officers set up a perimeter but were unable to find the man. It was unclear if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male around 5 feet 7 inches with a slight build, and wore a tan ski mask, dark coat, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. If anyone has information about the crime or the suspect, call the New Berlin Police Department at (262) 782-6640.
