New Berlin — West High School presents the Neil Simon comedy "The Odd Couple" on Dec. 4 and 5 in its Performing Arts Center, 18695 W. Cleveland Ave. The play, which debuted on Broadway in 1965 and spawned a successful film and television series, revolves around two mismatched roommates, one neat and uptight, the other more easygoing but slovenly.

The show ran for 966 performances on Broadway and won several Tony Awards, including best play.

At New Berlin West, Felix Ungar, the neat-freak, is played by senior Craig England. His messy roommate, Oscar Madison, is played by junior Zach Schwaller.

The cast also includes Liz Guerl as Speed, Kelly Candek as Vinnie, Cory Brown as Murray, Allison Floryance as Gwen Pigeon and Monika Horvat as Cecily Pigeon.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 4, at 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 5. Admission will be $10, general, $5 for seniors and students and free to New Berlin West students.
