Tom and Melisa (Peters) Cash of Maple Grove, Minn., are the parents of Jason Thomas Cash, born Aug. 30, 2011. He was 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and 21.5 inches long. Great-grandparents are Joe and Shirley Peters of Cedarburg, Marian Kujawa of Franklin, Hank and Harriet Cash of St. Cloud, Minn., and Earl and Irene Jacobson of Crystal, Minn.
Jeff and Erin (Grob) Peters of East Troy are the parents of Landon Joseph Peters, born Oct. 4, 2011. He was 9 pounds, 8 ounces, and 21 inches long. Grandparents are Brad and Robin Peters and Leon and Margaret Grob of New Berlin. Great-grandparents are Joe and Shirley Peters of Cedarburg, Marian Kujawa of Franklin, Eric and Patricia Hart of Milwaukee, Carla Grob of Oak Creek and Harold Grob of Wilmington, N.C.
CAMPUSNEWS
Matthew Chambers, Cathryn Niemczynski and Virginia Swanson of Muskego made the summer semester dean's list at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha.
Matthew Klinka of Muskego made the spring semester dean's list at Auburn University in Alabama, where he was also honored as an outstanding freshman for 2010-11 by the College of Sciences and Mathematics.
The following students have earned scholarships from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, given to children of Northwestern Mutual employees and retirees: from Muskego, Katherine Goane, attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Kayla Kutz, attending Valparaiso University in Indiana, and Eric Mielke, attending UW-Madison; and from New Berlin, Andrew North, attending Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Katlin Ellerson of Muskego was one of 81 student-athletes at the University of Evansville in Indiana who were recognized at the annual student-athlete honors breakfast for maintaining a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for at least one semester.
YOURNEIGHBORS
Three Muskego residents with disabilities who are pursing careers in information technology received AbilITy Connection financial assistance awards from Goodwill Industries to help them continue their education or find jobs in technology: Cory Adamak, who holds an associate degree in information technology, computer support specialist, from Waukesha County Technical College; Mark Hammond, who attends ITT Technical Institute; and Todd Rassmussen, who holds an associate degree in information technology, programmer/analyst.
