CAMPUSNEWS

The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in August: from Muskego, Jared Ellerson, communication studies, and Allison Spitzer, community health education; and from New Berlin, Jessie Dengsavang, exercise and sport science, and Christopher Goetsch, nuclear medicine technology.

Brandon Koster, a 2008 graduate of Muskego High School, performed as the Constable in "Fiddler on the Roof" on Nov. 18 and 19 at Carroll University in Waukesha.

Alex York of Muskego, a student at Lawrence University in Appleton, earned second-place honors in the sophomore men's division at the recent competition sponsored by the Wisconsin chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

SCHOOLSCENE

And y Carnecki, a senior at Muskego High School, was awarded the 2011-12 Woody Herman/Sister Fabian Scholarship for $1,000. Andy is a talented guitarist who is planning a career in music.

YOURNEIGHBORS

Jacob Belongia and Connor Allen of New Berlin placed first in their age divisions, 12-13 and 14-15, for boys in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition hosted by the Greenfield Jaycees on Oct. 16 at Konkel Park in Greenfield.

David Franke of New Berlin was awarded the Boy Scouts of America top scouting achievement, the Eagle Badge, at a Court of Honor at the New Berlin Public Library on Nov. 23. His Eagle project was the construction of 10 spectator and waiting benches for the tennis courts at the high school. David, a junior at New Berlin West High School, is the son of Randy and Carol Franke.
