Brooke M. Altis and Peter J. Fucile of Olathe, Kan., were married May 6, 2011, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe.

Parents of the bride are Bert and Elaine Altis of Olathe. The groom's parents are John and Kathy Fucile of New Berlin.

The Rev. Andrew Strobl officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Ball Conference Center in Olathe.

The bride wore a strapless ivory gown with beads and tulle. She carried a bouquet of pink and purple peonies, lilacs and hydrangeas.

Elizabeth McKimmey of Olathe, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Amy Schmitt of Spring Hill, Kan., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Johanna Falls and Alyssa Wilson of Olathe and Rose Balentine of Independence, Mo. Brynn McKimmey of Olathe was flower girl.

Lee Krecklow of Greenfield, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Kopp of Brookfield, Bill Fucile of Grand Island, Neb., and Michael Fucile and Tommy Fucile of Caledonia. Sean McKimmey of Olathe was ring bearer.

The bride holds an associate degree and a radiologic technology certificate. She is an X-ray technologist with St Luke Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.

The groom holds a bachelor's degree in production and operations management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a supervisor with Landes and Gyr in Olathe.

The couple planned a one-week honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
