There's a way to change these statistics. Become a lifesaver and learn CPR! The City of New Berlin Fire Department offers the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED class. It is shown that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim's chance of survival. This class teaches the basic techniques of adult and child/infant CPR and the use of an AED. You will learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking.
