Drunk Driving Patrol Ride Along Featured in March's Episode of Mission: Possible
Police Department Cable Show Information
MISSION: POSSIBLE-Episode Fifty-nine
Episode fifty-nine starts out with a drunk driving patrol ride along with Officer Chris Bayley. Chris tells us what he is looking for when he is out trying to catch intoxicated drivers and we’ll see footage of his and other officers’ efforts.
Next, Lt. Mike Glider talks about the police bike patrol in New Berlin and how bikes are used to augment patrol cars in certain places.
After that, we stop down at the Stonefire Pizza Company to check out our first annual D.A.R.E. Middle School Lock-In event that over 260 7th and 8th graders participated in.
Then it’s off to Wal-Mart, where they recently made a $2,500 donation to our traffic pre-emption device program, which gets police, fire and ambulance drivers to emergency scenes more quickly by helping them avoid red lights at intersections.
We’ll then meet Ron Alexander from New Berlin’s Senior Advocate Youth Exchange Service (SAYES) and he will tell us about the program and their partnership with Disney.
To finish up, we’ll stop in at the Star of Bethlehem School for their recent fifth grade D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony, emceed by Officer Dan Hanlon.
