Police Department Cable Show Information

MISSION: POSSIBLE-Episode Fifty-seven

Episode fifty-seven features an interview with Katie Oberle from the Women’s Center in Waukesha. Katie talks about the services that the center provides for female and child victims of domestic abuse, as well as emotional, financial, physical and sexual abuse.

After that, we stop by New Berlin Hills for the Fall 2009 Police Citizen’s Academy graduation ceremony and dinner.

Our next stop is Barnes and Noble in Brookfield Square, where on December 12th, they held a book fair fundraiser for our Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Program.

Then we’ll see a video produced by the P.A.R.C. (Preventing Alcohol Related Crashes) Task Force on the sobering realities and consequences of drinking and driving. This video was produced mostly for younger drivers, but viewers of all age will appreciate the message.

To finish up this episode, Officer Cory Hostettler will give several tips of what to do and not to do if you are involved in a car crash.

You can get the monthly show schedule on the city’s website at www.newberlin.org. Click on “Police Department” and then click on “Mission: Possible” or check in the New Berlin/Muskego NOW newspaper (first issue of each month has the current episode’s topics and schedule.)   You can also go to the New Berlin NOW website at www.newberlinnow.com to get a monthly schedule.  Each episode of Mission: Possible is also available at the New Berlin Public Library on DVD for you to check out.
