“Tip a Cop” Fundraiser for Special Olympics at the Texas Roadhouse

On Wednesday, October 21st, the New Berlin and West Allis Police Departments are teaming up with the Texas Roadhouse in New Berlin to raise money for Special Olympics in Southeastern Wisconsin. The event is called “Tip a Cop” and pairs up officers with Texas Roadhouse staff to serve food. Patrons are given an envelope and if they wish to tip the officer in addition to their server, all officer tips go to Special Olympics. In addition, the Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of all sales between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. that evening to Special Olympics. The Tip a Cop part of the event runs from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

At the last event held at the Roadhouse in January, the very friendly (and patient) staff even attempted to teach the cops how to do their famous Cotton-Eyed Joe line dance. There was enough entertainment value there to warrant a hefty tip for Special Olympics. Please come out to join us on Wednesday October 21st and bring your appetite to the:
