The Fur (& Feather!) Flyer

Established in 1965, HAWS assists over 6,000 animals and welcomes more than 31,000 human visitors annually. As an "open admissions" shelter we lead the community in animal welfare and assure sanctuary for all animals in need, regardless of age, health or temperament. HAWS is a non-profit, entirely donor-fund organization with an active humane education program, and both wildlife and companion animal rescue services for Waukesha County.

HAWS, Humane Animal Welfare Society, Waukesha, adopt, holiday, camp, Giving Tuesday, Cyber Monday

HAWS is spending the month of December - and the entire holiday season - grateful for our caring and supportive community! So rather than just devoting a Friday, Monday or Tuesday, how about an entire season?  Happy "HAWSy Holiday!"

Counting our Blessings…Counting on You: Each year, thousands of animals and people count on HAWS. With the continued support of the community, HAWS has so much to offer:
As an Open Admissions Shelter, HAWS doesn’t turn an animal away, welcoming animals regardless of their breed, temperament, health or age. No appointments or surrender fees are required.
-  As a Full Service Humane Society, HAWS is available for people and their pets for a lifetime, with a Behavior Department and Mod Squad to rehabilitate pets; the Spay-Neuter Initiative Program (SNIP) and Project Guardian to aggressively combat pet overpopulation; a 24-hour on-call Animal Rescue Team; Annie’s Fund for medical care; and Humane Education including day camps, school programs, seminars, training, consultations.

Your donation today will help HAWS Build a Society that’s Humane. Donations save the lives of countless animals and change the lives of people of all ages! Log onto today to learn more.
