MISSION: POSSIBLE-Episode Seventy-eight

Episode Seventy-eight starts the holiday season with holiday safety tips from Officer Tony Fus. He will tell us everything we need to know to have a safe and happy month of December.

After that, our cameras head down to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in New Berlin where our annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser was held to raise money for Special Olympics.

Next up, it’s off to the New Berlin Food Pantry to watch as 120 holiday turkeys are delivered by members of the New Berlin Professional Police Association and the Professional Firefighters Association, representing the police officers and firemen in New Berlin. Pantry Director Jeanne Holden was on hand to accept the donations and talk about what 120 turkeys meant to her clients for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Speaking of food pantry, our next stop is Industrial Electric Wire and Cable in the Westridge Industrial Park, where IEWC held its second annual “Stuff the Truck” food donation program. Citizens who donated food or money were able to get autographs from several Green Bay Packer players. The donated food was shared by several area pantries, including New Berlin’s.

Then it’s off to New Berlin Hills Golf Course, where a recent graduation dinner was held to honor the Fall 2011 Police Citizen’s Academy graduates.

To finish off this episode, we head to the new Firestone Tire and Auto Center on Moorland and Beloit Roads, for their ribbon-cutting ceremony and to accept a donation to the police department’s community service programs.
