Where Do We Vote?
In case it escapes some of us we'll post the places in each District from which you place your vote.
Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 New Berlin will vote for District One, Three, Five and Seven Aldermen
The places to vote are: District One: Hickory Grove Senior Center, 2600 S. Sunnyslope Road; District Three: World Harvest Church, 1500 S. West Lane; District Five: Eisenhower High School, 4333 S. Sunnyslope Road; District Seven: City Hall, 3805 Casper Drive
For other questions regarding the vote, consult the City Clerk's office, City of New Berlin.
Good luck! And, may the citizens of New Berlin be the biggest winners!

That's good news. Voting in the schools appears to me, at least, to be the best. Where I live, i've voted at Eisenhower, Park Grade School, and the fire house near city hall. We've all been moved around a bit. Possibly getting into schools is the better solution than to finding other venues.

After reading this blog post and the comments, Dr. Kreutzer contacted me on March 22, conveying that in the past, he had made all NBPS facilities available for polling places to the city and had offerred them again when he met with the new city clerk. That is good to know.

How dare you, Linda. Letting the unwashed masses into our palaces. How crude. As an aside we also used the fire houses at different times. I voted in one during our first years in New Berlin. But our boys on the council would never "outsource" anything where it would be beneficial to the city either, would they?

As you've pointed out, the New Berlin aldermanic races in this year's election (April 6) are in the odd-numbered districts (l,3,5,7) and your blog has clearly indicated the poll locations for those districts.

RAY ON THIS MORNINGS NEWS I HEARD THE GOVERNMENT (WHO WILL HANDLE OUR HEALTH CARE) SENT NEW BERLIN RESIDENTS CENSUS FORMS FOR THE CITY OF WAUKESHA, NOT NEW BERLIN. AS WAUKESHA RESIDENTS, MAYBE WE CAN't VOTE FOR THESE ALDERMANIC DISTRICTS.

I am happy to pass that information along.
Maybe more of our NB schools will be used as polling locations in the not too distant future.

Isn't it interesting that only two New Berlin public schools are used as poll places in our New Berlin elections--Eisenhower and Glen Park School. But the schools that have had the infusions of mega-millions of tax dollars in recent years--- New Berlin West, Ronald Reagan, Elmwood---are not used as poll places.
Some churches in NB are being used for election voting: District 3's poll place is World Harvest Church and District 4's is Peace Lutheran Church.

you rascal. I heard that too. Maybe they'll make us a subsidiary of Waukesha, or a precinct. I'll look up the places to vote in Waukesha, maybe that'll help.
