Observations
Ray McInerny, Sr., and his wife Jean, have lived in New Berlin for 32 years. A retired graphic artist, he now paints for his own enjoyment. This blog will attempt to present items of general interest to his New Berlin neighbors.
Don't Fool With Mother Nature, Or The Church
The Most Reverend Jerome Lisecki joined many of his brother bishops in informing Roman Catholics in their dioceses what a terrible blow President Obama has delivered to faith-based organizations that are, and have for many many years, providing health and human needs care to those in need.
Archbishop Lisecki was joined by that powerful voice in Our Church from Lincoln, Nebraska, Archbishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz, who condems the actions of the President, and his Cabinet Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, in forcing Catholics to purchase health insurance provisions which are contrary to their beliefs. These pastoral letters were distributed in church bulletins, and many were read from the pulpit, the end of January. All across this country Bishops are fuming at this affront to our religious freedom.
