Local Relay for Life moves to the Milwaukee Mile

This weekend, July 15 and 16, is the annual American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of West Allis/New Berlin. But where is it?

For years this popular event has been held at the Nathan Hale High School track on 116th and Cleveland Avenue, but because the track was being repaired, it has been moved to another site, the inner track at State Fair Park.

Rotary's 9th golf outing benefits community

When the Rotary Club of New Berlin holds its 9th annual golf outing Thursday, Aug. 4, it will be supporting both the D.A.R.E. and the Midnight Volleyball youth programs of the New Berlin Police Department. .

The outing, to be held at New Berlin Hills Golf Course, will have a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The cost, $400 for a foursome, will include lunch, 18 holes with a cart, two drinks, an awards dinner, and a chance for a $10,000 cash prize.
