Our used grocery bags are needed
We are generous in sharing our groceries with the New Berlin Food Pantry, but director Jean Holden has one further request – that we also contribute our used grocery bags.
It doesn’t matter if they are paper or plastic. Just so they are the size used in the grocery stores. The little pink and black bags used for newspaper delivery, or the large bags from department stores are not practical.
Rotary golf outing supports the New Berlin community
The Rotary Club of New Berlin is sponsoring its 8th Annual Golf Outing to Benefit the Community on Thursday, Aug. 5. It will be held at New Berlin Hills Golf Course, with pre golf events and registration scheduled at 10 a.m., with tee time at 11 a.m.
All proceeds will benefit the club’s commitment to support the New Berlin Food Pantry and the New Berlin Senior Taxi Service.
