School Board

Ralph Heun’s NOW blog says there is a special meeting at 7:30 pm tonight at New Berlin West’s library (Idea Room) to discuss the budget.

A "special" meeting" at 7: 30?

That's odd.  

The New Berlin School Board usually has two scheduled meetings each month.

Indeed, two school board meetings for July were listed on the June 22^nd Board Meeting Agenda under Future Meetings and Dates (pending board approval).

They are:

July 13

July  27

Furthermore, the District Web site conveys that tonight’s Board meeting is at 7:00 pm at New Berlin West in the Idea Center (library).

 7 pm --not 7:30 pm.

And discussion and approval of 09-10 budget revision as a result of loss of state aid, is but one of several items listed on the meeting agenda posted on the District Web site.

So, who erred in their communication?  Heun or the School Board/District?
