Conservatively Speaking
State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

David Kratz’s Eagle Scout ceremony was held on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
My office prepared a state citation that I presented to David Kratz at the special ceremony. It reads:
Whereas, David J. Kratz is a member of the Boy Scouts of
Whereas, David J. Kratz’s Eagle Scout project included securing donations, gathering materials, and leading fellow scouts constructing and installing swinging benches along the Hank Aaron State Trail near Miller Park; and
Whereas, David J. Kratz earned 31 merit badges, the Mile Swim Award, the Boy Scouts of America Snorkeler and World Conservation awards, and attended scout summer camp for seven years, and attended the Boy Scouts of America Sea Base High Adventure Camp in Florida; and
Whereas, David J. Kratz is a Senior Honor Roll student at Pius XI High School, a member of the Project Lead the Way High School Engineering Program, a scuba diver, and is certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI); and
