Conservatively Speaking
State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Andrew Bottom’s Eagle Scout ceremony was held on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
My office prepared a state citation that I presented to Andrew Bottom at the special ceremony. It reads:
Whereas, Andrew E. Bottom is a member of the Boy Scouts of
Whereas, Andrew E. Bottom’s Eagle Scout project included designing trail maps, building and installing benches, landscaping overgrown parts of a trail, and hosting a trail walk for fellow scouts providing awareness of the New Berlin Malone Park renovation; and
Whereas, Andrew E. Bottom earned 38 merit badges, 3 Eagle Palms, Ad Altare Dei Religious Award, and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow; and
Whereas, Andrew E. Bottom is a 2008 graduate of New Berlin West High School and participated in track, volleyball, Math and Chess Clubs, and was twice honored with the New Berlin West Renaissance Award for academic excellence; and
