Washington Post Blog Slaps Rep. Sensenbrenner For His Sexist Insult

Gov. Walker's Idea of the Perfect Judicial Candidate?
Gov. Walker’s appointment of Jennifer Dorow was reported by the Journal Sentinel on Dec. 23.
The article states:

The next New Berlin Board of Education Meeting is on Monday, January 9 at New Berlin West. The Regular Meeting follows a 6:30 pm Closed Session.
The agenda of that Regular Meeting (Open Session) lists this item:
School Board Robs Peter to Pay Paul
Instead of being good stewards of all the neighborhood schools that were entrusted to them, our “fiscal conservative” New Berlin school boards deferred maintenance from some schools, such as Glen Park, letting them deteriorate. Then after years of such neglect, the Board/District has the audacity to cite costs of repairing/updating those schools, as justification for closing them.
The officials obviously think it’s acceptable to take a resource (such as maintenance funds) for a school and divert it elsewhere.

More Than A Million Signatures To Recall Gov. Walker Filed Today; Where Is He?
“ Organizers of the effort to recall Gov. Scott Walker on Tuesday filed what they said were more than a million signatures, a number that nearly matches Walker’s vote total from 2010 and almost doubles the number of signatures needed to trigger another election.
United Wisconsin, the organization formed to recall the governor, said it turned in about 1.9 million signatures to the Government Accountability Board, a tally that includes 845,000 signatures to recall Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and more than 21,000 apiece for Republican Sens. Pam Galloway of Wausau, Van Wanggaard of Racine and Terry Moulton of Chippewa Falls. Earlier in the day, the group working to recall Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, filed 20,600 signatures.”
Sixth Consecutive Month of Job Losses in Wisconsin
Reports today’s Journal Sentinel:
“ Wisconsin unexpectedly lost private-sector jobs in December for the sixth consecutive month, the same months in which the nation added private-sector jobs.
School Board Flew the Coop
It happened during the January 9, 2012 New Berlin School Board Meeting.
“Approval of Closure of Glen Park Elementary School at the End of the Current School Year and Direct Management to Begin Planning for Elementary Boundary Changes Immediately” was listed on the agenda of that meeting.
Gov. Walker, It Is NOT Working

Heading in the right direction? Wisconsin has lost private-sector jobs for six straight months now, the same months the nation added jobs. Our state has been leading the nation in job losses. Walker's idea of heading in the right direction? Oh, my.
