New Berlin, Wis. – The School District of New Berlin electorate voted 61 – 11 to sell the Glen Park Elementary property located at 3500 S. Glen Park Rd., New Berlin, under terms and conditions approved by the School Board.
The Board accepted an offer to purchase Glen Park from Heritage Christian Schools for $1,750,000 on April 15, however the electorate needed to approve the sale.
“We are very pleased that the District was able to honor the requests of the Glen Park neighborhood to keep the building a school,” said Board President Dave Maxey. “We want to thank all those who have voiced their opinion on this matter and are pleased that the electorate came out to support the sale.”

· -Last used as a school – June 2012. The school district closed Glen Park due to excess elementary school capacity and for budget savings.

Funds gained from the District’s surplus property sales will be used to complete projects identified in its Long-Range Facilities Plan.
