Thank you to all volunteers who shared their career experiences with New Berlin West High School students on February 18!
Career Days in the School District of New Berlin offer an opportunity for high school students to be exposed to a variety of career specialties through classroom presentations given by professionals. Students also learn about the emerging job market, the importance of creating their personal brand, and how to select courses and learning experiences that will support their goals after high school. Students participate in five, 25-minute courses/sessions on the afternoon of Career Day. Through a partnership with Junior Achievement and many area businesses, we are able to offer 60 different sessions to our students at both Eisenhower and West.
See what our students had to say about what they were learning at www.twitter.com/westsdnb or search the hashtag #westcareerday
