Moving New Berlin Forward Update:
Superintendent Joe Garza gave an update on Moving New Berlin Forward – specifically the Discover New Berlin Expo on March 21-22 at Ronald Reagan Elementary School.

Communication Update: Director of Communications Melinda Mueller previewed the new school district website that will be launched on February 14.

Student Representative Update: New Berlin West Student Dominick Ropella spoke of recent successes and happenings at West Middle/High School.

Donations Report: Several organizations were recognized for their donations to the district.

Five-year Budget Forecast: Chief Finance & Operations Officer Roger Dickson gave a five-year budget forecast presentation.

Petition to Alter School District Boundaries: Superintendent Joe Garza shared that a landowner is petitioning for property currently in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District to become part of the School District of New Berlin. The Board approved the request, however the State and West Allis-West Milwaukee School District would need to approve as well to move forward.

Policies
The Board approved a revision to Policy 6150 – Advanced Placement.

The Board approved the deletion of Policy 6164.91 - Procedures for Participation of Students with Disabilities in the Standardized Achievement Testing Program

The Board had a first read of revisions to Policy 5113 - Attendance and Excuses and Policy 5131.10 - Classroom Code of Conduct.
