State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's Six month Forecast, Wisconsin Moves from 49 to 20, Soaring 29 Positions
The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank revised the leading index for April with Wisconsin improving nine increments for a total increase of 29 positions since the report, April 30, 2013. The leading index is a six month forecast of economic growth for the 50 states.
The index bases the forecast on new unemployment insurance claims, housing permit data, the Institute for Supply Management manufacturing survey, and prior coincident indexes by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
