Molybdenum

Thursday, January 24, 2013, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) issued results of an on-going study about molybdenum found in Southeastern Wisconsin.  Here is a link to information about the DNR’s molybdenum study:  http://dnr.wi.gov/news/BreakingNews_Lookup.asp?id=2636

The DNR has been studying the source of molybdenum in groundwater during the past two years after finding elevated levels in the Oak Creek/Caledonia/Mount Pleasant area. The DNR’s goal was to be able to pinpoint the source of molybdenum.  After two years of research the agency has not found the source.  The DNR found molybdenum within Muskego and Franklin.
