The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is warning consumers about recent postings on Craigslist for a boat for sale in Wisconsin. When an inquiry is made about the boat, the seller asks that the money to buy the boat be put into an escrow account. Soon after the buyer deposits the money into the account the payment is moved to an account out of state, the seller does not return phone calls or emails and a boat is not delivered. The gun deer hunting season begins Saturday, November 17, 2012. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Call Center expanded hours of operation. School Children from Around Wisconsin are Invited to make Ornaments to Decorate the Capitol Christmas Tree
The theme of the 2012 Wisconsin State Capitol Christmas tree is In Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Department of Administration and Governor Walker are asking children to submit ornaments for the Capitol Christmas Tree. The ornaments should represent goods and products made in Wisconsin. Some examples are:
Toys for Tots Donations Accepted Now through December 14, 2012
Once again Dave Ament and Ament Industrial Truck along with The United States Marine Corps joins Toys for Tots Program. A new unwrapped toy may be dropped off until December 14, 2012, at Ament Industrial Truck, 2140 South Calhoun Road, New Berlin, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Governor Walker Leave Insurance Exchanges to Feds
Governor Walker’s decision to defer to the federal government’s insurance exchange takes the burden off of Wisconsin taxpayers who would otherwise pay for a system that they cannot control. In the past, many Americans including myself have voiced the opinion that the healthcare law is unconstitutional because it forces Americans to buy a product or service. However, the US Supreme Court upheld the law. Moving forward, I will continue to do all I can to protect the taxpayers of Wisconsin and be a voice for the hardworking individuals of the 28th district.

Last Thursday, the Senate Republican Caucus convened and welcomed three new members: Senators-elect Rick Gudex (Fond du Lac) and Tom Tiffany (Hazelhurst) as well as presumptive Senator-elect Paul Farrow (Pewaukee).
