Governor Scott Walker gave his third State of the State Address tonight, and laid out a bold vision and bright hope for the future.
Governor Walker reminded us tonight that it was not easy to get to the $342 million dollar surplus we are at today. We got here by making tough decisions and implementing bold reforms that put our fiscal house in order and turned us in the right direction, forward.
Walker proved tonight he is in step with Wisconsinites. He makes his vision for Wisconsin clear. More jobs, tax cuts, education reform, and transportation infrastructure. Governor Walker’s priorities will parallel his budget proposal we will see next month. He will lay out a clear plan that puts more money in the hands of hard-working tax-payers and small business owners in our state.
