State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Wisconsin Jumps Up Eight Spots in CNBC's Top States for Business Ranking

In a recent CNBC's ranking of Top States for Business Wisconsin received the overall rank of 17, up from 2011 rank of 25. The 2012 ranking of 17 is the highest overall ranking Wisconsin has received. During 2008 Wisconsin received its lowest rank of 37 overall.

The CNBC poll ranked Wisconsin's infrastructure and transportation 6th in the country, up from 22nd place during 2011.
