State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Legislative Audit Bureau releases Annual Wisconsin Lottery Audit
The Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB) released the annual Wisconsin Lottery Audit today. The LAB found that lottery ticket sales increased by four and a half percent during 2010-11. The sale of scratch-off tickets increased by almost $30 million dollars during 2009-10 to 2010-11. Increased sales number for Mega Millions, Raffle Games, Wisconsin's Megabucks EZ Match, and Badger 5 helped increase the lotto game profit margin by over $21 million dollars over the previous year.
