Observations
Ray McInerny, Sr., and his wife Jean, have lived in New Berlin for 32 years. A retired graphic artist, he now paints for his own enjoyment. This blog will attempt to present items of general interest to his New Berlin neighbors.
We Need A Walker, Not A Talker
PANTS ON FIRE Barrett stated in the debate held at Marquette University Law School that 'I just want to say I've been in Public Life for 28 years, and no one on my staff has ever been charged with a crime, and I've never had a criminal defense attorney.
In television ads and in the first debate Barrett scornfully admonished Governor Walker for not being in touch with his staff. Telling Walker that a good executive has a grip on his staff. Things happening around him don't happen in a vacuum. You are right, Tom.
Well, I suppose it's possible Barrett didn't know Kris Barrett, his wife, unlawfully used Milwaukee School Board Computers to send out political messages - this from a Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel article in May 2012. Now that you know it Mr. Barrett will you see that your wife is investigated? After all you should have known. Ready to act? Or was that just a stunt?
And now the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel in a google search found that a Joseph N. Cantu, a receptionist in Barrett's office was charged in May, 2010 with suffocating his girl friend. The June 2nd Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel states he pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges; disorderly conduct and two counts of battery and sentenced to two years probation and 90 days in jail.
Lost your grip, hey Tom? That's a lot of stuff about your staff to forget isn't it? If you had any integrity you'd show us your wife's emails from the School Board and explain how a 'receptionist' in your office could be sentenced for his crimes and you don't know it? Fat chance, PANTS ON FIRE!
To further illustrate his depth of honesty and integrity Barrett introduces a rapper who sings 'Bitch Who Rides Me,' after accusing Walker of 'Waging War on Women.' Nice touch, Tom. By your company you will know them. What Barrett did to Kathleen Falk, who was backed by the unions, wasn't waging war on women though, was it?
Then he backs up his claim of honesty and integrity by bringing in Bill Clinton, the man who ruined a young woman's life and marked her for ridicule forever with his filthy habits. This is the President who lost his law license because he 'perjured' himself. And our man Tom Barrett stood on the Capitol lawn backing Clinton against impeachment charges. Payback time is here, right Tom?
President Obama and other diginitaries of the Democrat Party; luminaries of ACORN associated with Barrett, are ominously absent from the area. Even Politico and other left-wing blogs show little support for the Mayor. A man who had ten years in the U.S. House of Representatives has had few backers to come and stand by his side. One would think if he had a track record in the House there would be some help. Most of his help has been lip service from those who probably know Barrett best.
PANTS ON FIRE Barrett received a letter from the Co-Chairs of the Joint Finance Committee in mid-May asking for his plans to address the state budget. Barrett's response was to call this another stunt.
Barrett cannot state precisely what he would do to undo the good Walker has done. What would be so profound in his plans to make Wisconsin 'undivided' and 'unconquered?' More defenders of women like Phrophetic and Clinton or just another stunt?
You've mobilized the troops Mayor Barrett and Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 we'll know the results. We tea partiers are out on the stump and organized. We want to win. This recall is a travesty. You and the national union mobs think you can destroy our right to vote through a frivolous vote to recall.
If you had told us what you would do we might have listened. But harping and whining and distorting an opponents position doesn't create the harmony you insist that your administration would bring us.
Proverbs 13-17
A bad messenger plunges men into trouble,
but a faithful envoy brings healing.
