Another Less Than Satisfactory Response From School District
Being a taxpaying School District of New Berlin resident, I am interested in the District’s practices regarding financial matters/how District funds are spent.
I sent an email to School District of New Berlin Superintendent Paul Kreutzer and Finance Director Roger Dickson requesting to inspect three records:
- projected 2010-11 cash flow summary utilized for borrowing
- agreement between the District and Booster Club pertaining to concession stand
- BOE meeting minutes of the NB School Board approving the hiring of PMA for the December 2009 financing of boilers.
Remembering Ronald Reagan
Last Sunday, the Super Bowl drew a tremendous amount of attention in our state and nationally. The Journal Sentinel reports that the telecast set a TV record. In today's newspaper, columnist Duane Dudek says “Sunday’s game had the largest audience of all time, an estimated 111 million people."
Sunday (Feb. 6) was also the 100th anniversary of the birth of President Ronald Reagan.
Wisconsin Supreme Court Race
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is composed of seven justices, elected to 10-year terms in statewide, non-partisan April elections.
In Tuesday’s (Feb 15) Primary Election, four candidates will vie for a seat on the state Supreme Court.
Gov. Walker's Plan to Curtail Collective Bargaining Rights of Public Employees Draws Protests
If you've been following news reports on TV or newspapers, you know thousands and thousands of people have protested Gov. Walker's proposal.
