Dolores Karner blogs on behalf of the New Berlin Citizens for Responsible Government, whose mission is to inform the public about significant issues and to recommend public action when deemed necessary. The NBCRG believes government officials and their employees should be accountable for their actions or lack of actions. The group also recruits and endorses candidates to public office who best express the positions taken by this organization.
New Berlin Citizens for Responsible Government was formed in March 2002 and is a non-profit Association.

We also want to inform about the good things in New Berlin (there are good things). As an example of the latter we bring to your attention the efficiency and competency of the New Berlin Fire and New Berlin Police Departments in a recent occurrence. On Thursday, February 10 a fire in a garage in the 12800 block of Beloit Road was reported in a 911 call. The garage was attached to a eight-unit apartment building. New Berlin Engine No. 4 arrived within five minutes and with the support of Hales Corners and Greenfield firefighters quickly controlled the fire limiting damage to two of the eight units.
