A Youngster's Needless Suffering and Death

Health, musings

Dale Neumann was convicted on Saturday of second degree reckless homicide. His wife was convicted of the same charge a few months ago.  Both face up to 25 years in prison.

The Neumann's had relied on prayer rather than seek medical care for their gravely ill 11 year old daughter Madeline--even when her condition had deteriorated to the point where she couldn't walk, talk, eat or speak.

Belling's Bluster, Blunders, and Boorish Behavior

Personal, New Berlin Schools

Trash-talker Mark Belling targeted me in one of his on-air tirades. When I returned home, I called WISN radio/Clear Channel Communications and spoke with a general manager, explained the situation and requested a transcript or recording of that Belling broadcast. She admitted Belling’s shows were taped and archived, but refused to give me any access. She also said Belling’s show had been podcast but the podcast was no longer available.

A Celebration and Promotion

Personal

Today is my birthday and I spent most of the day with two of my favorite people--my husband Ron and one of our little grandsons.  We went to the Olive Garden for lunch this afternoon. The baby slept through the meal.  Ron and I went to a movie later .   It was a very enjoyable and quiet day.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday, too.  That was a lot of fun but noiser and more hectic. That's because the party was at our house and we had a houseful of family members,  including three babies, a toddler and a four year old.  The toddler and preschooler have so much energy. My (2 year old) grandson helped me blow out the candles on my cake. (It wasn't too hard because we'd only put two candles on it).
