Assembly Bill 4 passes, adding $25 million to Economic Development Tax Credit Program

Today, the Senate approved Special Session Assembly Bill 4 with a 25-8 bipartisan vote. This bill, which I am pleased to have sponsored, will add $25 million to the Economic Development Tax Credit Program.

This $25 million will spur innovation and growth for Wisconsin companies. In turn, this will lead to more good-paying jobs for Wisconsin families that will patronize other Wisconsin companies. It truly will produce a cycle of success that will benefit everyone.

This special session set we our sights on job creation and proactive steps to make Wisconsin a better place for companies to do business. We have more measures to consider before the special session is complete, and we’ll continue to show industry Wisconsin is open for business.
