State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Great news: UW's Madison Surgery Center will not perform second-trimester abortions
Today's Madison Capitol Times reports:
"The Madison Surgery Center will not offer second-trimester abortions after all, according to a news release issued late Monday by UW Health."
The center said they made the decision due to “patient safety and privacy” issues.
This is wonderful news both for the unborn, and for those MSC employees that support life and spoke out in opposition to the plan.
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin's President says, "This is a threat to women's health in our state," I say this protects the health of unborn women.
